Joules & Joules Gray Deep is a dark, transparent, and highly lightfast bluish gray, with moderate tinting strength and low covering power. It has green and earthy undertones.
Color Index PB 29 + PY 43 + PW 4 Binder Cold-Pressed Linseed Oil Transparency/Opacity Transparent Lightfastness I (Excellent) Tinting Strength Medium Drying Rate Medium Observations Quickly fades if it is exposed to weak acids, which react by forming hydrogen sulfide. Avoid mixing it with chrome yellow. Toxicity Non-toxic. Avoid inhalation and contact with the powdered pigment and ingestion of the paint.
