Joules & Joules Sun-Thickened Oil Gel Medium adds transparency, flexibility, shine, and flattens the paint without altering its consistency. Unlike Joules & Joules Gel Medium, Joules & Joules Sun-Thickened Oil Gel Medium levels brushstroke marks, providing an even, smooth, glazed-looking surface. This characteristic is achieved thanks to the thixotropic nature resulting from the combination of Joules & Joules Sun-Thickened Oil - 60 days and pyrogenic silica. The absence of any drying agents in its composition prevents it from affecting the original oil paint's drying rate.

Applications
Medium: Added to oil paints, it gives colors a buttery, short, and transparent body. It is a safe addition to oil paint, preserving its original flexibility, without any dilution or cracking. It evens the surface, flattening brushstrokes.
 
Observations
When used pure, it may acquire a slightly yellowish color after the drying process. May cause a slight yellowing in the color when dry.
