Transparent Red Oxide
Joules & Joules Transparent Red Oxide is a bright, transparent, and highly lightfast earthly deep red, with moderate tinting strength and low covering power. The pigment's extremely fine particle size, achieved through an ultra-milling process, is responsible for its distinctive transparency. Transparent Red Oxide is a vibrant color with pink-orange undertones that is ideal for thinly layered paintings.

It works very well with either the Oil Gel Medium or the Sun-Thickened Oil Gel. The best dilution is achieved by mixing the color with a simple mixture of a Drying Oil and a Solvent in equal proportions. Toxicity Non-toxic.
