The Joules & Joules Transparent White Oil Stick is developed from the original formulation of the monobasic oil paint of the same name, enriched with precise proportions of beeswax and carnauba wax. This modification provides uniform surface drying and a firm outer structure, while remaining creamy and malleable inside—ideal for techniques that explore translucent layers and subtle overlays. The result is a warm, luminous, delicately transparent white, with low tinting strength and balanced covering power.
 
Composed of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) and silicon dioxide (SiO₂), this pigment is a modern alternative to traditional Zinc White, which is known for forming more rigid paint films prone to cracking. The Joules & Joules Transparent White maintains the desired brightness and optical purity, while offering greater flexibility and superior light stability, rated Lightfastness I (Excellent). Its controlled transparency allows for the creation of soft nuances and subtle highlights without overpowering mixtures or compromising surface texture.

Notes
Not affected by diluted alkalis, acids, light, or air. Non-reactive with drying oils and therefore has a slow drying time.
