This modification provides uniform surface drying and a firm outer structure, while remaining creamy and malleable inside—ideal for techniques that explore translucent layers and subtle overlays. The result is a warm, luminous, delicately transparent white, with low tinting strength and balanced covering power.

Composed of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) and silicon dioxide (SiO₂), this pigment is a modern alternative to traditional Zinc White, which is known for forming more rigid paint films prone to cracking. The Joules & Joules Transparent White maintains the desired brightness and optical purity, while offering greater flexibility and superior light stability, rated Lightfastness I (Excellent).
